We've been looking for Ben and Eight for a while now. I heard from Isaac that he had seen Eight earlier, but he had vanished before they could approach him.
We're hiding out in a giant knight piece right now. Crow released a few of his birds- sorry, Convocation- and sent them to circle the sky. Apparently there's an open gash on his left palm, which he covers up with a glove soaked in rubbing alcohol. Gross.
I'm getting really stressed out. Hey, I didn't know Alexander to do that. I thought crows were supposed to be annoying and loud, but Alexander is chirping quite beautifully.
It's peaceful. Soothing. Man, I'm drowsy. When was the last time I slept? It can;t have been that long ago. So why am I so tir

Searching
Well, my hunch was right. Ben was possessed by the Dying Man. He ran away, with the Eight Of Clubs chasing after him. No clue where they are. So now I'm left alone with Sound and Lotus, plus a nest named Andrew "The Crow" Miles, and an SMSC agent going by the alias "Algeria Touchshriek".
The Illusionist contacted me earlier. He said h's convinced Ren to help us out for now. I've been placed in charge of these clowns. We're going to go search for Malkator. I don't know what's going to happen when we find him. The Illusionist and Ren are going to search elsewhere. They'll try to contact us if anything happens.
I'll update this blog when I can, and Crow will be updating Malkator's blog every now and then. I'm holding onto Malkator's book. I won't let anyone look inside. Malkator obviously didn't want his secret getting out, and I won't let it.

Not Himself
This isn't the Malkator I remember. He's actually enjoying all the bloodshed.
Well, long story short, we found him and his group.
We've been travelling together for a little while. We were attacked by the Naga's servants, and Malkator decided to brutally slaughter all of them before devouring the bodies. It was frightening, and he just laughed maniacally the whole time. Eventually he calmed down enough to post on his blog.
He's becoming mad. It almost as if... no, it couldn't be....

Entry
This is the Butterfly. I guess the Illusionist stole the password to this blog from my head while I wasn't paying attention. Anyway, I'm on the Board right now. Me, Sound, and Lotus are all together. We were separated from the Illusionist earlier, and Gamer's leg hasn't recovered yet.
We left this morning. Master came to us and led us through the path. He followed him for three hours. He led us down several forks, and I soon realized that the Path of Black Leaves didn't just connect to the human world; It was linked to every domain in existence. Including the Board. He stopped after a while and opened up a gate. We all stepped through.
I was shocked by what happened to Slender Man when he entered the Board. An instantaneous transformation came over him. He became shorter. About six feet tall. He grew black hair over his scalp, and he had a face. A face. I was actually used to seeing him without a face, so the sudden appearance of one was startling for me.
"I don't enjoy this feeling," He said, looking down at his hand. That's right. He was actually speaking. "Being human is terrible. I cannot fathom how you people deal with it."
"You get used to it when you've been one your whole life," The Illusionist said. "How long will you be this way?"
"This world suppresses my power," He replied. "It could take months to regain my full strength. However, once I leave this world, I will instantly regain my power. You're on your own from here. I have other matters to attend to. Your mission is to protect Malkator and prevent him from encountering the Game Master."
"What is the Vision," The Illusionist asked as Slender Man returned to the portal.
"She is none of your concern," Slender Man said. Then he was gone.
"What did you mean when you asked about the Vision?" Lotus asked.
"Master has had me keeping an eye on the blog of Daniel Ferris," The Illusionist said. "In the blog, Daniel claims to have encountered our Master, and an unknown force caused him to say that 'The Vision still exists, within the Demi-God'. I'm not sure what the Vision is, but the Master did let one thing slip just now.:
"And what would that be?" I asked.
"Whatever the Vision is, it's a girl," He said. "Or at least, it was at one point."
That conversation was cut short when another figure burst through a wall a few yards from us. It was Ren, the Tree-hybrid.
"Where is he!" He demanded. "I know I felt the Slender Man's presence!"
"He's left," The Illusionist said.
"Very well," Ren said, summoning a giant thorn in his right hand. "I'll just have to settle for his servants."
The Illusionist drew his glave and said "I the rest of you to leave. I'll take him alone."
"But your powers have been restricted, haven't they?" I asked him.
"So have his," He said. "He's regained some of his strength, but not all of it. Besides,I'm smart enough to work with what I still have. Now go!"
With that, he charged at Ren and engaged him in battle. The rest of us ran.
This place is like a labyrinth. It's not a full-blown maze, but it's easy to get lost in. It will be hard to reunite with the Illusionist. Good news is, I saw a bird circling the sky earlier. Not just any bird though; It was a crow. It must be Alexander. We're getting closer to Malkator.

New Mission
This is O'Zalia. Myrir is busy making preparations as well. She's excited. I can't blame her. I'm also eager for the chance to see Malkator again. But I'll get to that later.
We've managed to track down and kill all the Campers in the area. I learned their master plan by reading their minds. Their goal was to contaminate the local water tower with ink. They hadn't accomplished this yet, so we managed to prevent a rather sticky situation from occurring.
When we got back to the hotel after eliminating the last of them, we found that Master was waiting for us. He had gotten a clue to the connection between Malkator and the Game Master. He didn't tell us what he found out, and I'm not stupid enough to ask.
Our new mission is to infiltrate the Board and try to prevent Malkator and the Game Master from meeting face-to-face. We set out tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to this. It feels like it's been too long since our last meeting, my friend. Here's hoping our next fight won't be as inconclusive. Heheheh.

The Truth About Isaac
He decided to let me meet his family today. I was a little shocked to learn his parents were still alive. I kind of assumed the Slender Man made his servants kill their parents. I guess that's not always the case. They seemed nice, but I think his mom thought we were a couple. Yeah right. He's my team's leader, and nothing more.
I also met his little brother. A little 10-year-old named Adam. They had an interesting conversation when they saw each other.
"Hey, Adam," Isaac said. "How you been?"
"I've been doing great!" Adam replied.
"How's school?" Isaac asked.
"It's going fine."
"Are your grade good?"
"Yep!"
"Anyone bullying you?"
"This one guy was for a little while, but the teacher made him stop."
The next question was where it got weird.
"Have you seen the ghost lately?" Isaac asked.
"No," Adam replied. "He left for some reason."
Isaac smiled. "That's because big brother told him to scram."
"Yeah!" Adam said excitedly. "Even the ghost has to do what you say, because my big brother is a super hero!"
"Yeah," Isaac said, starting to seem a little sad. "A super hero. Right."
Isaac explained it all to me later, while we were drinking coffee.
Slender Man was stalking my brother before, He said to me in thought speak.
I figured that was it, I thought back.
I was always a really smart kid, He explained. I got excellent grades, I learned things quickly, I had excellent logic, but there was a down side to all that.
And what would that be? I asked.
I was also born with a heightened awareness of the supernatural, He said. I could see Slender Man when no one else aside from Adam could. It didn't take me long to figure out that he had taken an interest in my brother. I didn't know exactly what he wanted though. Then one day, I saw a youtube video called "Concrete Giraffes."
Concrete Giraffes? I asked.
Yeah, He replied. It was a parody video made by Littlekuribo
Little what? I asked.
He's the guy who makes Yu-Gi-Oh the abridged series, He explained. Don't judge me. Anyway, I saw the ghost in that video, and for the first time, I learned his name. Slender Man. So I did some research, and I learned exactly what he was and what he was after.
So what did you do? I inquired.
I offered myself to him, He explained. He agreed to leave my brother alone, provided I do every thing he asked of me. And so I became a proxy. I followed all of his orders. When he says "Jump", I say "How high?". Then, on day he started the Enhancement experiment. The process was painful, and the proxies who volunteered for it often lost their lives. Those who didn't die gain extraordinary strength and speed, but their lifespans became severely short. One day, he asked me to become an enhanced. I didn't like the idea, but if it would keep my family safe, I was more than willing to put my life in danger.
What was it like? I asked curiously.
The worst pain I could ever imagine, He said. I'm not sure how I managed to survive it. More curious was the nature of my abilities. Rather than my body, it was my mind that became en-
He was cut off by Adam's scream coming from the next room.
"It's Master," Isaac said. "Adam saw him outside."
We went to Adam, and I think Isaac wiped his memory, because when his parents asked what was wrong, he seemed convinced that he had seen a coyote. Isaac and I agreed to go investigate.
And so we went outside to where Slender Man was waiting by a patch of trees.
"You agreed not to come near my family," Isaac said angrily.
I have more orders for you, He responded.
"You couldn't wait for us at the hotel!?" Isaac demanded. "You said you'd leave them alone! You know my brother's terrified of you!"
It is not your place to question my actions, He replied.
"But what about our deal!?" Isaac almost shouted. "You shouldn't be here!"
Slender Man quickly wrapped a tentacle around Isaac's throat and pinned him against a tree.
That's enough, Slender Man said angrily. There is a large group of campers in the area. Find and crush all of them. If you refuse, you can say goodbye to your brother.
So yeah, we now have a new mission. Kill campers. If there's a large number in this town, then they must be up to something. We'll have to watch our backs.
Another worrying thing. Isaac had a pretty bad coughing fit while we were at his parents house. I think his time might be running out.
I also met his little brother. A little 10-year-old named Adam. They had an interesting conversation when they saw each other.

Vacation
So Isaac decided that we're all going on a vacation while we wait for new orders. Apparently, we're going to his home town. He took us all to Iowa via the Path, and he got us a bunch of free hotel rooms by brainwashing the manager. Crystal and I are sharing a room, Jerome and Gray have the room next door to us, and Isaac gets his own room right across the hall. I know I should be grateful to be getting a break from all this craziness, but this is the infamous Illusionist Isaac O'Zalia we're talking about. I can't help but think he has hidden motives for bringing us here.

The Game Master
Something interesting happened today. The Illusionist pathed in looking frustrated. I asked him what was wrong, but he didn't answer, just started pacing. It started to irritate me so I decided to grab him by the scruff of the neck and demand that he tell me what was going on. He didn't object at all.
"I've been looking for Malkator," He said.
"So where is he?" I asked.
"I don't know," He replied. "He mentioned in his blog that he wound up on a beach, so I tried searching as many coastal towns as I could. No luck."
"Maybe he already went to Daniel's location," I suggested.
"I checked Daniel's town too," He said. "I didn't find any clues."
He sat around trying to think of where he could've gone. A few minutes later, Slender Man appeared. The Illusionist immediately bowed to him and explained the situation.
The Demi-God is no longer in this world, Slender Man said to us.
"What?" I asked. "Are you saying he died?"
Of course not, He said. He's been taken by the Game Master.
"Who is the Game Master?" The Illusionist asked. "Is he a new Fear?"
He could hardly be consider new, was Slender Man's response. He is one of the oldest among us. He has been dormant for several centuries. However, he seems to have decided to re-enter the fray.
"Really," The Illusionist asked.
Yes, He replied. We met for the first time in a while almost a month ago. He said he was planning something big, but didn't say much more beyond that.
"A month ago?" I asked. "Isn't that about the same time Malkator got his powers?"
Yes, He said. There is no way that this is a coincidence. The fact that he's brought the Demi-God to The Board confirms this.
"The Board?" asked The Illusionist.
The name off his realm, Slender Man explained. He has brought other's there as well as the Demi-God.
"Who?" I asked.
He has taken some of my Enhanced, as well as servants of many of the other Deities. The Second Demi-God is there as well, along with some humans.
"What are your orders?" The Illusionist asked.
I will look into this myself. I want you and your team to take some time to recover for the time being. Await further orders.
I can still be of use to you," The Illusionist insisted.
This seemed to irritate Slender Man, because he spouted some tentacles and began waving them threateningly. He then said If you continue to question my orders, I will disembowel your brother and use his intestines to write your name in cursive on the sidewalk. Then he vanished.
I've never seen The Illusionist in fear before. That being said, it was pretty weird to see him cowering on his hands and knees like that.
"You never told us you had a brother," I said to him.
"I don't want to talk about it," He said. Then he got up and started to leave.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"I going to my room to recover," He replied. "As the Master ordered."
So yeah, that happened.

Another Failure
The Illusionist woke us all up unreasonably early this morning. He brought me and Sound to the top of a building where we were supposed to wait for Malkator. Gamer and Lotus were still out of commision because of their injuries. I'm not sure why we had to get there that early, because I had enough time to drink two Monsters before he showed up.
He examined us all for a minute. I could hear The Illusionist inside my head the entire time saying Don't worry, he hasn't recognized either of you yet. He does find your mask amusing, though..
The Illusionist and Malkator talked for a little while. I was only half paying attention. I was still a little tired. The Illusionist opened a Path and instructed us to follow him. After some time, he stopped us, and I heard his voice telling us to hide in the trees and provide covering fir while he and Malkator. Stupid of him to ask two really tired people to handle sniper rifles.
We positioned ourselves within the forest. When I looked upon the seen, I saw Ren, drinking blood from the bleeding tree. He then got up and started talking to them.
Then The Illusionist spoke to me, saying Be ready, shit's about to hit the fan. Sure enough, a fight broke out. I couldn't get a good shot at Ren the entire time. Suddenly, a man with an over-sized samurai sword appeared out of nowhere between them. There was another conversation. I couldn't here any of it, but I noticed The Illusionist laughing the whole time.
Then they appeared. The Master behind The Illusionist, The Doctor behind Ren, The Puppeteer behind the new person, and The Grandfather behind Malkator. I was terrified. Four of the deadliest Fears had gathered together to witness this fight.
Then The Master began speaking through The Illusionist. His voice was so powerful that I could here it from my position. "This is quite a sight. A Bleeding Tree hybrid created by the Doctor, an Ex-Archive Demi-God, a 300-year-old Willing Doll, and one of my most powerful Enhance. This will truly be a fight to behold." I think Malkator questioned him on the newcomers status, because He continued with "Yes. He is one of her deadliest servants."
Then The Illusionist said something, and a couple seconds later, the others were caught in his illusion. Ren fell on his back and stayed that way as if pinned there by swords, the Willing Doll began swinging his sword wildly as if he was battling invisible knights, and Malkator dropped to his knees in pain. The Illusionist stood over him, with his spear raised to his face. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't raise my weapon against The Illusionist, but I couldn't let him kill Malkator either. Before I could decide what to do, Malkator shouted something out and kicked The Illusionist in the face.
That was enough to break the illusion for the other two. Ren immediately charged at Malkator. I didn't hesitate this time. I shot that bastard square in the chest. Then the Willing Doll got in a sword fight with Malkator. The fight was too fast-paced for me to get a clear shot. The Doll quickly disarmed Malkator and kicked him in the chest. I was about to fire again, but without warning the Blind Man raised his hand and he was sent flying. So yeah, apparently the Blind Man can use the force. Who knew?
Malkator stood up to question the Blind Man on his motives. He didn't notice Ren getting to his feet. By the time Malkator noticed, he was already caught in Ren's vice like tree-grip. I tried firing another shot, but nothing happened. How stupid of me. I forgot to cock the gun again after that last shot. If I had had enough sleep last night, I might've been focused enough to remember that step. There was a sudden flash of bright, multicolored light, and Malkator vanished. Ren seemed shocked, but he almost immediately turned his attention to the Doll.
His arm shrunk to it's normal size. His skin suddenly became covered by a thick armor of tree-bark, and a sword-sized thorn appeared in his hand. He entered a battle stance, challenging the Doll to a one-on-one fight. The Doll raised his own sword, as if accepting the challenge.
Then The Illusionist spoke up. Jerome! Myrir! We're retreated! Leave, Now!
I returned my rifle to it's holster. Before I fled, I could swear I saw the Blind Man pick a few things up off the ground and vanish.
We're now back at the base. I treated The Illusionist's injuries. His nose is broken and he's got a nasty bruise on his cheek. After that I went to go catch up lost sleep. Then I woke up and started making this post.
So yeah, that's what happened. We have no idea where Malkator vanished to. I have to go, Sound's asking a bunch of annoying questions. Idiot.
He examined us all for a minute. I could hear The Illusionist inside my head the entire time saying Don't worry, he hasn't recognized either of you yet. He does find your mask amusing, though..

Idiot.

Approaching Showdown
The Illusionist pathed in an hour ago, looking ecstatic.
"Hello, my evil minions!" He said, tearing open a box, and pulling out a bunch of brand new masks. "I've got new masks for all of you. The guys who made them for me had to dive in a few wishing wells to get the nickel need to make them, but they finished creation rather quickly."
"Wait, those are made of nickel?" I asked. "Are these meant to protect us from Malkator?"
"'Course they are," He said, handing me mine. "And I must say, they look simply marvelous."
He was right. It was beautiful. It was in the shape of a butterfly, and was lined with brightly colored gems a glitter. Whoever made it must have put a lot of work into it.
"I knew you'd like it," He said. "I requested that they be designed based on you guy's preferences."
Gamer's mask was made in the shape of a Pac-Man head, which I personally found hilarious. Lotus's mask looked like a flower, and Sound's mask looked like an ordinary proxy mask, only shiny and made of metal rather than plastic.
"Why don't you have a mask?" I asked the Illusionist.
"I don't need one," He said. "Besides, I don't mind if Malkator knows my identity."
"But what does Malkator have to do with this?" Sound asked.
"Oh, of course," The Illusionist said. "I forgot to tell you all that the Master approves of my plan. All I have to do is wait for him to give the ord-."
He was cut off when Slender Man appeared directly in front of him. He dropped to his knees and bowed.
I assume Slender Man gave him an order because he said "I understand," and then pathed out.
I couldn't stop myself from asking the question that had been nagging me since last night.
"Um, Master?" I asked. He(it?) turned his head to me. "I was wondering... um... what's Isaac's plan, anyway?"
I heard his voice in my head. His voice is difficult to describe. It was terrifying. He said O'Zalia's plan is to pit the two Demi-God's against each other.
"Put Malkator lost his last fight against Ren!" I exclaimed.
Which is precisely why your group will be assisting him, Slender Man said, before vanishing. I gulped. Now I knew what the masks were really for. Damn it, Isaac.

Failure
The plan didn't work out. This morning, The Illusionist and I went to investigate the hotel that Ren's been staying at, and learn it's layout. After getting the information we needed, we regrouped with the others.
We tried to take Ren by surprise, but it didn't work as we planned. The Illusionist went with Sound and Lotus to confront him, while Gamer and I waiting in the building across the street with sniper rifles aimed in Ren's window. Next thing I knew, the wall was destroyed and a giant wooden arm flung The Illusionist through the gaping hole. I was afraid he was going to smash into the ground bellow, but to my surprise, he opened up a portal in midair and vanished into the Path of Black Leaves. Ren then jumped to the ground bellow, extended his arm to enormous proportions and attacked me and Gamer. We managed to avoid most of the structural damage caused by his strike, but Gamer's leg was broken and we were disarmed.
The Illusionist, Lotus, and Sound continued to fight Ren, but he was putting up a large fight. Fortunately, he was mostly attacking illusions. I had dragged Gamer a little while away from the battle, where I thought he'd be safe. It was then that I saw another figure approaching the battle confidently. I recognized him immediately; It was Martyr Beta.
"Hey, you're Malkator's old friend right?" He shouted to Ren. "No hard feelings, but I have orders to take you out."
I charged at him, stopping a few feet away and aiming a handgun at his face. He chuckled at the sight. Luckily for me, he didn't recognize me with my mask on.
"You got something against my interference?" He asked.
"No, just against you in general," I replied, pulling the trigger. Before the bullet could reach him, he was somehow ably to draw the zweihander across his back and cut the bullet in half in midair. I'm not even sure how that's possible. He was about to charge at me, when I heard Sound yelling at me to cover my ears. His weapon then collided with Beta's sword.
I should probably explain how Sound's weapon works. It looks like a large metal pipe attached to a sword hilt, but it's a bit more complex than that. The weapon's internal structure is designed to amplify sound waves, so when the two swords collided, the CLANG! was 20 times as loud as it would have normally been. Beta stumbled back, clutching his head in pain. Sound, who had in earplugs, was unaffected.
It was then that I heard The Illusionist's voice in my head, saying We're retreating now! Get into the Path and return to the base! NOW!
I didn't need telling twice. Sound and I lifted up Gamer and went to the Path of Black Leaves. The Illusionist was already there, supporting and injured Lotus.
We're at the base now. I treated Gamer and Lotus earlier. We're gonna get them some proper medical care as soon as we can find a hospital that isn't operated by Oathbreakers. Sound's been awfully quiet. The Illusionist spent a while pacing back and forth angrily (I'm pretty sure it was the real him. I don't see why he'd go through the effort of making an illusion pace so much.) then he announced that he had a new plan but he needed to run it by the Master and he left.
I don't know what his new plan is, but if he needs to talk to Slender Man about, then I doubt it can be good.
There's another thing that worries me. Malkator mentioned in his last post (http://malkator.blogspot.com/2012/05/day-1.html) that the Enhanced don't live very long. The Illusionist is an Enhanced. I haven't noticed him suffering for any health problems, but that might just be one of his illusions. I hope he'll be alright.

Careful planning.
We were all at the base. Gamer was playing some weird shooter game on his PSP, Lotus and I were sparring, and Sound was reading a Victoria's Secret magazine (perv!) when The Illusionist pathed in all of a sudden, exclaiming "I have excellent news, my evil minions!"
It was the real him this time. The illusion of himself just materializes into the room, but this time I could distinctly see the gate closing behind him.
"So this news is so excellent that you've actually graced us with your presence?" I asked.
I heard his voice in my head saying nothing gets passed you, Myrir, then he continued by saying "I've tracked down Ren."
"Great!" Gamer exclaimed. "That means we can go there and blow his brains out!" He then collapsed, clutching his stomach and screaming in pain.
The Illusionist facepalmed. "I didn't really stab you," He said. "That was an illusion."
"But it felt so real," Gamer said, getting to his feat.
"I made you think that it felt real," He said. "And we can't just go kill him, that would be suicide. He hates proxies almost as much as he hates our master."
"So how are we going about this?" Sound asked.
"I have a plan," The Illusionist said. "Well, most of a plan anyway. There's a few details I still need to wprk out, but I'll go ahead and tell you what I have so far. Tomorrow, Butterfly and I will wake bright and earlier to do recon in order to fix the empty points in the plan."
"Why her?" Gamer asked.
"Because she's the most perceptive member of the team. That's the main reason why she's here."
Obviously, I'm not going to spill the plan, or Ren's location, over the internet. If Malkator were to find out, he'd definitely try to interfere. The plan is slightly flawed, but The Illusionist and I plan to fix that as soon we gather more intel.
'Til then, goodbye. I'll fill you in on the details after the operation.

I Am The Butterfly
My name is Myrir Serena. I've recently taken the nickname Butterfly. I'm twenty-three years old, and I recently joined the ranks of Slender Man's servants. He's assigned me to work with a small group of other proxies.
Our leader is named Isaac O'Zalia. We call him the Illusionist. None of us have actually met him yet. He's only appeared before us as an illusion. He's about 5'8, twenty years old, has bleached white hair, and dresses nice. Or maybe he just wants us to think he looks like that. I don't know.
The next member is named Gary Kaiser. We call him Gamer. He plays way to many video games for his own good. He's about 16, with bright red hair and freckles. He's pretty good with firearms.
The next guy is Jerome Welric. His nickname is Sound. He's 19, and he's a total flirt. Not much more to say about him.
The final member is Crystal Fiora. Her nickname is Lotus. She's 21, blonde, 5'6", and is the only member of the group I can really get along with.
Our current assignment is to track down and eliminate Ren Takeru. He's a powerful Demi-God with a shard of the Bleeding Tree fused into his arm as a result of the Plague Doctor's experimentation. He's swore to defeat my Master at all costs. And as if that wasn't difficult enough, there's another Demi-God who's also after Ren. His name is Benjamin Malkator. He was once friends with Ren, and his goal is to save Ren before he gets himself killed. This will be a difficult assignment.
